  • Title I is a federal education program designed to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. It provides extra funding to schools with higher percentages of students from low-income families. These funds are used to purchase additional learning materials, fund specialized teachers and tutoring programs, support professional learning for staff, and host family engagement events.

  • Title II funds are used to invest in the people who teach and lead our students. This program provides funding to recruit, hire, and retain high-quality teachers, principals, and school leaders. It also supports ongoing professional development and training to improve student learning across the district.

  • Title III is dedicated to helping children who are learning English as an additional language. These funds provide high-quality language instruction programs to help students attain English proficiency, as well as resources and community outreach for English Learner (EL) families.

  • Title IV focuses on providing a well-rounded education in a safe and supportive environment. This grant is used for STEM, music, and the arts; mental health and school safety initiatives; and the effective use of technology in the classroom.
